ZBrush Progression

Over this last semester I went through a huge learning curve with ZBrush, so much so that you can't help but see it. Take a look from the first assignment I had all the way to the last.

From First to Last:

I have learned so much about ZBrush from Adam Skutt and Dave Bentley this semester its unreal. I think this Adv Head Sculpting class has been my best and quickest learning curve ever! When you have so many amazing artist in the class with you, its hard not to grow ^_^. I am going to keep getting better at this program and the next step is texture and color. I already know how to model and re-typologize so its just a natural progression from here.

Siren Take 3

My Siren step 3 in ZBrush. I have very little texture on here so far but I'm going to go back and tweak it a bit more before I step into re-typlogizing and color

15 Minute Animated Tests

These are tests I did last night and this evening to make my animation faster. I plan on doing more to get myself comfortable with created animation that much faster, specially when it comes to my film. I feel like I haven't been moving along, in that regard, fast enough so these test are going to help me with that. ^_^

The Note God Work Reel

Still tucking along with this short film animation. Its both traditional and photoshop animation. The ending hasn't been attached yet and I'm still working on the body of the composition but there is always more to come nonetheless. Well.. back to work for me ^_^

18th Century Lady

This is an illustration I did a couple of weeks ago but just recently finished. I has an inspiration for her to be more like painting but I decided not to go in that style in terms of her painted color. But give her more of the appearance of an 18th century young women posed for a painting. Well this is my interpretation anyway.
Let me know what you think.

One Soft Morning

This is a painting I did on my IPad. It's a strange workflow when painting on the IPad and its significantly harder doing so compared to working with my Intuos 5 tablet on my Mac. This defiantly took some trial and error and though I can do tons better on a computer then on my IPad I still like what I did here. With no custom brushes or pressure sensitivity this was hard to do but hey I just have to play with it more to get better at it. :) Practice makes perfect right ^_^ so here I go....

Evil Eye Ivy

I was originally doing this drawing for a competition but since it didn't get done in time I decided to change up the color and the overall feel of it to something a little darker. Now she's more like poison ivy then anything. That wasn't my aim when I first started painting but hey… thats where my creativity directed me and I'm happy with her.
Feel free to let me know what you think of her.
